Long before Lang’s Auto Service called 4947 Main Street home, the location was part of Downers Grove’s rich automotive history. In the 1960s, the building operated as Borman Motors, a neighborhood car dealership well-known in the community. Though details from earlier decades are limited, it’s clear the site has long been tied to local automotive life. Today, Lang’s Auto Service proudly carries that tradition forward, honoring the past while delivering trusted, modern care to drivers throughout the area.
